Sho Nakata's Summer is Over!

Sho Nakata's Summer is Over!
The final game in Osaka prefecture has just ended, and it's Konko Osaka going to Koshien, not Osaka Toin.

Sho Nakata started on the mound for Osaka Toin, who allowed a first inning home run and fell behind 3-0. His squad scored one run in the bottom half of the frame but trailed the entire contest. Nakata was lifted, and Osaka Toin attempted a late rally, but fell short by a score of 4-3.

Konko Osaka makes their first appearance at summer Koshien (they have appeared in 1 spring tournament).

We will be deprived of seeing Nakata perform a follow-up to last year's splendid hitting display; we'll have to wait to see where he winds up.
