Kawahara Traded to Lions
Yomiuri traded pitcher Junichi Kawahara to the Lions for pitcher Mitsutaka Gotoh. Kawahara was 0-1 with 2 saves and a 6.46 ERA in 13 games last year. Gotoh was 3-2 with a 5.97 ERA in 6 games last year. Kawahara has slumped the last two years and Gotoh was out with shoulder injuries last year. [Link - Japan Ball]
