Powell, Beirne agree to terms
On Tuesday, Orix came to terms with P's Jeremy Powell and Kevin Beirne. Beirne will make 110 million (1.1-oku) yen in 2005, a 50 million (5,000-man) yen raise, while Beirne will make 140 million (1.4-oku) yen in 2005, a 10 million (1,000-man) yen cut from 2004. [Link - Japan Ball]
