This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

Houlton will sign a deal worth 60 million yen. He's expected to help as extra starting pitching depth with the injuries to Wada and Saitoh.
He went 0-2 with a 4.18 ERA in 18 games with the Dodgers last year. In 23 games with AAA Las Vegas, he went 6-4 with a 3.65 ERA. Houlton has a 6-11 record with a 4.99 ERA in 53 games.
