This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

The starting pitchers for tonight need no introduction: ace Kawakami
KenjiKenshin for the Chunichi Dragons vs. ace Darvish Yu for the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters. Kawakami took the loss in Game 1, allowing 3 runs on just 2 hits. Darvish got to win, holding the Dragons to just 1 run on 4 hits.Of historical note, please compare the similarities between the 2006 and 2007 Nippon Series: Does anybody else see symmetry? A pattern forming?
[Fixed Kenji --> Kenshin thanks to the Spelling Police.]
