M's Possibly to Play in Japan in 2004

M's Possibly to Play in Japan in 2004
The LA Times wrote this past weekend that Mariners could possibly play the Angels in Japan to start the 2004 season. The Mariners then told the Seattle Times that it would not be the Angels, but instead the A's, the team that they were supposed to play against to start this season.

Right now MLB is looking at sponsorship from the Japanese side for the games.

What do you think are the chances of the games going on next year?
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
