Fujikawa Rejects New Offer
Tigers reliever Kyuji Fujikawa rejected Hanshin's new offer of 70 million (7,000-man) yen for the 2006 season.

Fujikawa went 7-1 with 1 save and a 1.36 ERA last year. He finished 2nd in the Central League MVP balloting behind teammate Tomoaki Kanemoto. He was also called the Tigers' MVP by manager Akinobu Okada numerous times this year. Fuijkawa makes up part of the fearsome J-F-K trio of relievers.
