Giants Sign Toyoda
The Yomiuri Giants signed free agent closer Kiyoshi Toyoda to a 2 year deal worth 230 million (2.3-oku) yen. [Full Story - Japan Ball]

Toyoda went 3-1 with 19 saves and a 3.97 ERA in 35 games with the Lions in 2005. Toyoda has a career 55-35 record with 135 saves and a 2.96 ERA in 326 career games with the Lions. [Career Stats]
