This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

With the way that Komiyama and Kawamura have been getting hit so far this season, Mori-kantoku wanted a long reliever he can count on. Yamada, 5 and 6 lifetime with a 4.09 ERA has been spending this season at 2-gun so far, where he's 1 and 0 in two appearances.
Taneda is expected to take over at second base where Ogawa (traded from Orix during the off season for Shindoh) has been hitting a mear .244, and Doster hasn't lived up to Mori-kantoku's expectations (at the plate).
Hoshino-kantoku has been in search of a third outfielder, what with Timmons hitting a league low 1.22.
Well, I wish you well, Haru. You're not getting much playing time has been yet another strike against Mori-yakyu for me. (And there are several strikes against his brand of ball already.) I hope you get more playing time there in Nagoya, and I look forward to seeing your "guts play," even from the opposite side of the stadium.
