Tigers duly lost their third game in a row failing to try hard and being out hit by the BayStars. Still all BayStars runs came in the first innings off Kubo who after this poor start was very sound. BayStars then went to sleep and despite having five more hits couldn't produce any runs. Against good pitching they are really going to struggle. Score 3-0

Are you saying the Baystars or Tigers are going to struggle against good pitching? And, won't everybody?
One thing that I've noticed about Yokohama's offense is that they're doing a much better job so far this season at taking advantage of the opposition's failures. Runs have been scoring on (or thanks to advancements due to) past balls and fielding errors. The first inning this afternoon was no exception. A wild pitch set up the first run. Then Murton's failed sliding catch attempt led to another.

I'm actually referring to the BayStars - after the first they rather failed to turn the screw. Relying on pass balls and fielding errors isn't going to bring too many victories. My impression (for what it's worth) is that they still haven't solved their hitting issues.
