If all else fails, Tigers can rely on beating the BayStars. Actually they had six excellent innings from Nohmi coupled with a solid performance from the bullpen (Watanabe, Tsutsui and Kubota). The result was that the BayStars were shut out Tigers winning 2-0. The runs came from the bat of Sakurai who managed a two run home run in the second innings.
