Some poor batting combined with wayward pitching saw Tigers take a heavy defeat for the second day in a row. This time they lost 7-1 to Carp but if they had deployed the relief a victory might have been possible. Kojima started and showed great promise going five innings but only giving up one run on five hits. Futagami ran into trouble and gave up the other six runs. Once again Tigers scattered their hits but Murton had a better game registering two hits.
