This match started brightly for the Tigers but only lasted half an innings before the rain descended. Iwata was once again paired with Yano but the combination didn't have any chance to click as BayStars couldn't even start their first innings. Line scores

Akahoshi led off Tigers first with a hit (it's nice to see he's OK). He reached second on Sekimoto's bunt and then made third on a pass ball by Yoshimi. Arai was next and he hit to centre driving in Akahoshi 1-0 Tigers. Kanemoto flew out to short and then Imaoka grounded out to Yoshimi to end the innings. That was it - Iwata didn't even take the mound as the heavens opened. The game was declared a no game shortly afterwards. Tigers next game will be the crucial game against the Giants.
