Nichi-Bei Series: Game 1
The MLB team won 7-2. Clemens pitched 4.2 IP, gave up 4 hits, 2 runs, 1 ER, 4 BB, and stuck out 4. Koji Uehara pitched 6 IP, gave up 6 hits, 3 runs, 3 ER, 2 BB, and struck out 6. Uehara lost the game. Kazuo Yamaguchi gave up 4 ER and 4 hits in 2/3 IP. Cardinals' Kiko Calero pitched a perfect 1/3 inning for the win. [Link - MLB.com]

I've gotten a number of requests for boxscores, and can't find any in the usual places on the Net. So, while it's not in English, please find the Japanese boxscore below.



As you can see, Uehara threw five shutout innings before getting knocked around in the sixth by the North American All-Stars. Walks were Clemens' undoing in the fifth (and the cause a big pinch for him in the second).
