Tokyo Dome Baseball Games Sept. 23-26?

Tokyo Dome Baseball Games Sept. 23-26?
Hi,

We'll be visiting Tokyo from September 23-26 and would like to see a game. Looks like the 23rd is actually the last day of the regular season with a Giants-BayStars game in the Tokyo Dome at 14:00.

Have three questions:

1) Is there any way for a non-Japanese understanding person to buy tickets online? Otherwise, maybe try my luck on the Yomuiri site.

2) Not sure if we'll be in town early enough to catch that afternoon game. If not, looks like the Giants are tied for first place and am wondering if there are likely to be playoff games there that weekend?

3) Would there be any other games to consider in the Tokyo area besides the Tokyo Dome / Giants?

Thanks!

1. I'm afraid not. You may be able to get someone on the phone.

2. No playoff games that weekend. There may be makeup games.

3. The Eagles vs. the Lions at Seibu Dome on the 23rd at 6PM.

Thanks, hadn't thought of the Seibu Dome.

We now will be coming in October instead. How long do the playoffs generally last in Japan? When does the schedule come out, and is it difficult getting tickets?

Thanks!

- How long do the playoffs generally last in Japan?

The Japan Series is a 7-game series. There is no general rule to predict how long it goes on.

- When does the schedule come out

When the regular season is over.

The general schedule is on the NPB site right now.

Of course we don't know when each playoff series will finish yet, or where they will be, but we know when they are scheduled to start.
