Kaz Matsui Free Agent Status
I was wondering if someone would be able to clarify Kaz Matsui's status? When he is eligible to come to MLB and if there is already an agreement with a team that he has to bargain with similar to the Ichiro situation?

Matsui will be a free agent by the end of this season after which he may decide where he wants to go. There will be no posting like Ichiro.
