How is Jerrod Riggan doing in Japan? He was in the Mets' farm system for a long time, but sufferred from injuries. Did he sign with Hanshin? I thought it was somewhere else.

That's pretty good. He's turned into another Roger Clemens. Is he signed for 2004?

I have followed Jerrod since he was in high school, and one thing he has not suffered from are injuries. He has never been on the IR and his health is one huge thing going for him, as well as a 95 mph heater and an awsome split finger.

Hello! I'm Japanese. I think Riggan will also be playing with the Tigers next year, since he is contributing to the team considerably. The Tigers will win the league championship at next week.

P.S. Activity of Hideki Irabu, who was on the rosters of the Yankees (in 1997-1999), the Expos (in 2000-2001), and the Rangers (in 2002) is also wonderful. He has 13 wins and six losses now.

Pitcher May, who is playing an active part for the Royals now, played five years for the Tigers, and was matched against Hideki Matsui of the Yankees. He was playing in the same team as Matsui before his transfer.

The Hanshin Tigers have no money to keep their stars. Why didn't they keep Valdes and May? Thus, I think Hanshin will sink next year.

If the Tigers get a piece of all that merchandising and licensing revenue, they should have plenty of dough next year.

What's with all the ex-Mets going to Pro Yakyu? Maybe it's the Bobby V. effect?

No matter, Riggan was okay with the Amazins, but I don't recall him having many injuries. From what UMASS posted, he seems to have fared rather well with Hanshin. Are we sure he's signed through next year?
