中日の朝倉健太投手（２５）が貫録の投球を見せた。オープン戦２度目の先発で４回をパーフェクトに抑える好投。直球は１４０キロ台前半だったが、シュート、スライダー、フォークの変化球を低めに集めて西武打線を寄せ付けなかった。「今日は低めに投げることができました。フォームのバランスもだいぶよくなってきました」。昨年１３勝を挙げた右腕は自信を漂わせていた。
