NPB-MLB All-Star Series History?

Discussion in the Ask the Commish forum
NPB-MLB All-Star Series History?
I have been scouring the Internet looking for any kind of statistical information on the NPB-MLB All-Star series and have only run into dead links. Does anyone know of any current sites in English or Japanese where I can find past series box scores or complete statistics?

Many Thanks,
~Jeremy

Well, mlb.com has a few things up in their History section:

Thanks for those links. The problem with the scores that go back to 1986 are that I need the actual statistics of the players playing. If anyone has any further links they would be much appreciated.

Thanks again!

Jeremy,

Sergei Borisov's site has boxscores and stats for the 1998 and 2000 tours; Baseball1 has boxscores for the 1996 tour, courtesy of Sean Lahman and Masataka Kagesawa.

For boxscores and stats further back, your best bet would be to search newspaper archives; the Sporting News would be a good bet.

Once you have the information, perhaps you could post it in the Encyclopedia so others may view it.

Hope this helps.
