Fukumori Wants Multi-Year Deal

Discussion in the Rumor Mill forum
Fukumori Wants Multi-Year Deal
Free agent reliever Kazuo Fukumori said he wants a multi-year deal from MLB clubs. I can't see how any MLB team would give Fukumori a multi-year deal after last season. He will be represented by Alan Nero. Nero represents So Taguchi, Akinori Iwamura, and Kenji Johjima.

Fukumori went 4-2 with 17 saves and a 4.75 ERA in 34 games with the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles. The Kansas City Royals and Tampa Bay Devil Rays have been mentioned as possible destinations for Fukumori.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
