Player Themes?

Discussion in the Ask the Commish forum
Player Themes?
I just came back from Tokyo having gone to three Yomiuri Giants games. I had a blast and realized that Japanese baseball is much more entertaining than its American counterpart.

Anyways, I was wondering if you guys know, or know where I could find, the theme music that is played over the loudspeaker for certain players (e.g. Kiyohara, Nioka, Takahashi).

I can't read Japanese and I know this is kind of an obscure question, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can find CDs of Japanese baseball music and player themes in most Japanese department stores (Hanshin depaato for Tigers' goods, for example) where they are sometimes lumped together with team videos and other souvenirs. As for the actual lyrics to the player themes (in Japanese or romaji), you may want to do some web-surfing through various fan sites. For example, this "Tora Tora Tora" site [in Japanese] has the Hanshin player themes written down. I have sometimes seen player lyrics written out in fan magazines as well.

On that question, I wonder where one could find the actual sheet music for the player themes. I've tried all over the place in Osaka for Hanshin Tiger themes, but the only tune the stores seem to stock is Rokko Oroshi.
