Baseball World Cup Already Exists

Discussion in the Open Talk forum
Baseball World Cup Already Exists
IBAF: Proof: that's the IBAF Web site. There are several IBAF Tournaments: World Cup, Olympic, Intercontinental Cup, etc. So many countries have national teams it's surprising even.

Want more proof:

France is even participating in World Cup 2003 in Cuba.

Check it out, guys. Maybe if it's more popular, ESPN might show the World Cup.

Yes, most of us know about the Amateur World Cup. What most of our discussion in these forums centers on is a World Cup or World Series for the top professionals in the world.
About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
