I've got the top 5 on hand:
Rank Name (2006 Team) HR
( 5) Kiyohara (Orix Buffaloes) 514
(18) Rhodes (????) 360
(19) Etoh (Yomiuri Giants) 349
(25) Kanemoto (Hanshin Tigers) 337
(31) Kokubo (Yomiuri Giants) 302
Source: 2006 Baseball Record Book, Baseball Magazine Sha

Rank is overall (active/non-active).

I don't recall Rhodes signing with anyone for 2006. He was released from the Giants, and there's been a lot of speculation about him returning to the Pacific League, but I don't recall reading anything concrete about him.

Once I finish getting all of the 2006 rosters entered, it'll be easier to query for this. If you don't mind filtering out the retirees, I can gather the top 30 or so for the 2005 rosters.

Yes, thank you both. I have a follow-up question, if you don't mind me asking: Kazuhiro Kiyohara is the 8th member of the 500 home run club, right? Are any of the guys in the 200-350 home run range young enough to eventually reach 500?
