Nippon Ham Interested in Diamondbacks' Andy Green
According to Web Hochi (in Japanese), the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters are interested in acquiring infielder Andy Green from the Arizona Diamondbacks. You can see a profile of Andy Green, as well as some stats from the Arizona Diamondbacks Player Info page. He only played 17 games with the top club this year, but at AAA Tucson he played in 135 games, batting .343 with 19 HR.

Maybe they should try to sign recently released Greg LaRocca, formerly of the Carp. He could play 2B or DH, and is a proven star hitter when healthy.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
