Kono identification
The 2007 Asian Championship Final Report listed Tokuyoshi Kono as a coach with Japan. The other coaches were former NPB stars (Koji Yamamoto, Koichi Tabuchi) but I can't find any trace of a Tokuyoshi Kono.

Could this be:

1) A trainer or other personnel officer incorrectly listed as a coach

2) A typo for Takayuki Kono

or

3) A coach named Toshiyuki Kono who just never have happened to play in NPB. If so, I imagine the guy had some coaching experience in Japan and would be interested in finding out about it.

According to this Japanese Wikipedia page, Tokuyoshi Kono has been the Japan Team trainer for the Sydney, Athens, and Beijing Olympics as well as both World Baseball Classics. It appears that his entire professional life has been as a physician/trainer.
