Pro Yakyu Forums
The number of forums have grown through the years to try to narrow down discussions to particular topics, such as news about high school baseball, Korean, Taiwanese, and other leagues. Here are some tips to help everything run smoothly:
- Please read the below descriptions before posting.
- Please browse the most relavant forums before posting a question.
- Please write clear subject lines about the topic. "Question" is not a clear subject.
Follow these simple rules and you're sure to find something that you're looking for.
Posts are moderated. Contrary to what some would like to believe, moderation isn't put in place to prevent free speech. The purpose of moderation is two fold:
- To reduce noise caused by spammers, trolls, flamers, and racists; and
- To present arguments in an edited format so that the content stands on its own without distractions caused by poor grammar, punctuation, or layout. (In many cases, layout is added, such as to make lists stand out better.)
If you have a comment directed to the moderator, label it as such and it won't be posted. Please be logged in or include an e-mail address if you want a reply under such circumstances.

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
